As far back as I can remember I have had the soul of an artist. Born and raised in New Jersey, I grew up 12 miles outside of NYC. I am a graduate of Ramapo College and Georgian Court University. I began my career in the Graphic Arts field. At McGraw-Hill Publishing Company in NYC, my positions included Senior Design Supervisor of the Book Division, and Art Director for the Advertising and Promotion Department. In my mid forties I embarked on a new career in art education.
Of all I have experienced and accomplished, I am most proud of my role as a mother. I have had the most joyous and wonderous journey raising my two sons. My eldest son is a graduate of Brandeis University, presently employed by Bank of New York Mellon. He resides in Houston, Texas with his lovely fiancee. My youngest son will be graduating from Muhlenberg College this coming May. He plans to apply to Law Schools.
I am nostalgic. I love history, particularily the WWII era. I have a passion for art history and all things old. I love movies, a good book and creating things. I was raised to believe in the importance of education, hard work and always doing one’s best.
It is my goal as your child’s art teacher to nurture both a love for the arts and knowledge of art history in all my students.
